Visualizing my experience at Amal Academy
From the day one of my journey at Amal academy, my experience has been stupefying and very memorable. I got an opportunity to bring out my inner me, explore myself, and found the “why” behind my goal. I got to interact with my amazing teachers and fellows where I learnt and developed my soft skills, time management (especially the Pomodoro technique has been really helpful), and of course teamwork. I visualize my experience at Amal academy as “Sky”, as it motivates me to do more in life and that sky is the limit. I am writing this today not to only share my experience but to also congratulate myself for making it this far despite all the ups and downs, final exams, and internships, pushing myself forward until I achieve my goal.
These are a pictures I took of the sky on nice windy day:
My first few weeks at Amal was quiet surprising and very interactive as there method of teaching was very different to that of the traditional ones. First day was Amal was a bit confusing because I had 60 other fellows on my laptop screen who I never knew of but now they all have been like a family. During the first two weeks we got to explore “knowing ourselves”, “living a life of purpose” and principle of Amal which opened a new chapter of life to me “finding my why” behind very goal.
Within the first two weeks, I got to learn how to set my smart goals and how to take everyday leadership. The online courses played an important role in educating me which included videos, reflection questions and quizzes. The courses helped me understand that even taking small initiative shows everyday leadership.
As I mentioned my journey at Amal from day one has been amazing, it taught me how to stick to my goals, discovering the inner me and grooming my soft skills. Several courses focused on career planning, especially writing a perfect resume and acing an interview. I can see a huge difference in my resume I had before I joined Amal and after completing resume building courses at Amal. I actually laugh at my previous resume, thank you Amal.
